DJI Osmo Pocket 4P
-
-
- DJI Osmo Pocket 4P, a handheld gimbal stabilizer camera featured in a white “Vlog Combo”.
- Key specifications for this model include a 1-inch CMOS sensor, 4K video recording capability at 240 frames per second, and 3-axis stabilization.
-
(often called the “Professional” or dual-lens variant) is DJI’s latest flagship pocket gimbal camera, launched in mid-2026.
It’s an upgrade over the standard Osmo Pocket 4 (released earlier in 2026), introducing the series’ first dual-camera system for greater versatility in vlogging, travel, and cinematic content creation without swapping lenses or devices.
Key Features & Upgrades
- Dual Lenses/Cameras:
- Wide-angle (main): 1-inch CMOS sensor (20mm equivalent, f/2.0), with advanced LOFIC technology for up to 17 stops of dynamic range (huge for high-contrast scenes like sunsets or backlit shots). Supports 10-bit D-Log 2 color.
- Telephoto (new): ~60mm equivalent (f/1.8) on a smaller sensor, enabling 3x optical zoom, up to 6x lossless/12x hybrid zoom. Great for portraits with natural bokeh and compressing backgrounds.
- Video: 4K/60fps (standard), up to 4K/240fps slow-mo (wide) or 4K/200fps (tele). Excellent stabilization via 3-axis mechanical gimbal + ActiveTrack 8.0 (improved subject/person tracking, multi-subject support).
- Photos: Up to ~37MP.
- Design & Usability: Compact pocketable form (~230g, slightly larger than Pocket 4 due to dual lenses). 2-inch rotatable touchscreen (bright, up to 1000 nits). Built-in 103GB storage (expandable via microSD). Fast charging (80% in ~18 min), up to ~210 minutes battery life.
- Other: USB 3.1 for fast transfers (~800MB/s), improved mics, ecosystem accessories (fill light, handles, mics, tripod in combos).
Who It’s For
- Ideal for vloggers, travelers, and creators wanting pro-level footage (cinematic dynamic range, zoom flexibility, stabilization) in an ultra-portable form.
- Beats single-lens predecessors and competes with Insta360 models by offering dual focal lengths + superior low-light/DR in one device.
Compared to Osmo Pocket 4: The 4P adds the telephoto lens, higher DR (17 vs. 14 stops), and more zoom versatility at a premium. The standard Pocket 4 remains a strong (cheaper) option for most users.
