TP-Link 4G LTE Mobile Wi-Fi – TL-M7000

TP-Link TL-M7000 (also known as M7000) is a compact, portable 4G LTE Mobile Wi-Fi hotspot (MiFi device). It turns a standard SIM card into a personal Wi-Fi hotspot for on-the-go internet sharing, ideal for travel, business trips, outdoor activities, or backup connectivity when fixed broadband isn’t available.

Key Features

• SIM-based 4G LTE connectivity: Insert a micro or nano SIM (with adapter if needed). No Ethernet ports — it’s fully wireless and portable.
• Shares with up to 10 devices simultaneously (smartphones, laptops, tablets, etc.).
• Wi-Fi: 2.4 GHz band only, up to 300 Mbps (802.11n). No 5 GHz support.
• 4G speeds: LTE Cat 4 — theoretical max 150 Mbps download / 50 Mbps upload. Real-world speeds depend on your network coverage, signal strength, and carrier (e.g., Safaricom, Airtel in Kenya).
• Battery: 2000 mAh (some regions list ~2150 mAh) — provides up to 8 hours of usage on a full charge. Charges via micro USB.
• Management:

Setup (Simple Process)

1. Remove the back cover.
2. Insert your activated 4G SIM card (use adapter for nano-SIM).
3. Replace the cover and power on the device.
4. Connect to the Wi-Fi network (SSID and password printed on the device or in the manual).
5. For advanced settings: Connect a device, open a browser, and go to http://tplinkmifi.net. Or use the tpMiFi app.
