The Echo Studio is engineered to automatically analyze the acoustics of your room (when the microphones are enabled), fine-tuning playback for optimal sound, wherever it’s placed.

Use your voice to set timers, add items to lists, and create calendar events and reminders. You can also check the news, weather, or traffic, ask for sports scores, movie showtimes, restaurant hours, or information.

Connect and manage your compatible smart home devices with the built-in hub. Just power on your device and say, “Alexa, discover my devices.” Alexa will automatically detect and set them up so you can control lights, plugs, and more with your voice. This works with dozens of Zigbee-enabled products and every Works with Alexa device. You can also enable Alexa Guard to get Smart Alerts if your Echo device detects the sound of smoke alarms, carbon monoxide alarms, or glass breaking.

You can wirelessly connect the Echo Studio with your 1st or 2nd generation Fire TV Cube, Fire TV Stick 4K, or 3rd generation Fire TV to stream the audio from those devices to the Echo Studio for an enhanced cinematic experience. You can also play and control music across multiple Echo devices with multi-room music, or pair with a second Echo Studio or Echo Sub for even bigger sound.

The Echo Studio has a microphone off button that electronically disconnects the microphones. You also have control over your voice recordings, allowing you to view, hear, or delete them at any time. Additional privacy features include wake word technology and streaming indicators.

First, place the Echo Studio at least 6″ from the wall with clearance above and on all sides. Download and install the latest version of the Amazon Alexa app to your mobile device. Plug in the Echo Studio, wait for Alexa to greet you, then set up the Studio via the Alexa app.

Use your Alexa devices like an intercom and talk to any room in the house with Drop In and Announcements. Let everyone know that dinner is ready, or remind the kids that it’s bedtime. You can also make hands-free calls to almost any phone number in the US, Canada, Mexico, and the UK to stay in touch with friends and family.

The Alexa app and Alexa-enabled products include a variety of features for customers with accessibility needs related to vision, hearing, mobility, and speech.
