Official Battery Options
- Insta360 X5 Standard Battery:

  - Provides up to 135 minutes of runtime when recording in 5.7K at 30fps.
  - Delivers a nominal voltage of 3.89V and charges rapidly via USB-C or external hubs.
- Insta360 X5 Ultra Battery:
  - Features an upgraded 2800mAh capacity, distinguished by an orange accent highlight.
  - Provides an extended runtime of up to 235 minutes under standard lab conditions (5.7K at 24fps in Endurance Mode).
  - Supports ultra-fast charging, reaching 80% capacity in approximately 20 minutes.
Key Specifications & Features
- Weather Resistance: Both options are built for extreme conditions, functioning flawlessly in freezing environments as low as -4°F (-20°C).
- Smarter Storage Case: Official batteries come bundled with a protective plastic case that includes built-in storage slots for two MicroSD cards.
- No Backward Compatibility: The physical dimensions of the X5 battery are slightly larger than its predecessor. A standard Insta360 X4 battery will not fit inside the X5 camera housing.
